All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto
all good works (2
Tim. 3:16-17).
The first level of fellowship that you must
work on this month is, the fellowship with the Father and the Son through
the Holy Spirit; and the first way that the Holy Spirit accomplishes this in our lives is through prayers. The
second way is through meditation on the Word of God.
In
this special month of Fellowship, you must take out time to meditate on the
Word of God daily. This
is because the Holy Spirit helps us fellowship with the Father and the Son
through the Word of God. The Father teaches and counsels us through His Word.
There are those who say that “experience is the
best teacher,” and some others say that “life itself is the best teacher”;
both are not true. It may be possible for you to learn a few things from
your experiences in life, but the best teacher in life
is God’s Word; the instruction manual for living. That’s why the
Bible says, “Every Scripture is inspired by God and is useful
for teaching” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 WNT).
There’s no better way to be a
success in life than to follow the Word of God and do what it says. There are folks who only learn through
terrible experiences the things they could have learnt if they had only
followed the Word of God. Such people experience crises in their business,
marriage and other areas of life. But you don’t need to learn that way. You don’t
have to lose all your investments to learn how to handle your finances
properly. Neither do you need to have experienced a rocky marriage before you
learn how to love your spouse. This is why in this month of Fellowship; you
must fellowship with the Lord by studying and meditating on His Word.
David said, “thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). The Message Translation puts it this way: “By your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path.” This means that as you fellowship with the Lord by studying and meditating on His Word, the Word of God illuminates the paths of your life; it gives you direction and the `know-how’ to succeed in life. Through the counsel of the Word you’ll be saved from regrettable experiences. Hallelujah!

You don’t have to live by “trial and error”; stick with the Word, and everything about your life will
work out beautifully well. Yielding to the Word of God and living by it will
make you a wonder to others. They’d begin to ask how come life
is so easy for you! The answer is simple: the Word of God has become the
pilot of your life. So, fellowship with the Lord by studying and
meditating on His Word. Glory to God!
