Hallelujah! It’s A Month of Songs!

thot040313Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

The Spirit of God told us at the just concluded March Global Communion Service that the month of March is the month of Songs! Hallelujah! In this month, your mouth will be filled with singing and you’ll experience supernatural favour like never before! As you sing and make melody to the Lord in this month of songs, expect supernatural increases in your life. Praise the Lord!

To walk in the fullness of this revelation throughout this month and beyond, you must make up your mind to be joyful all the times. The Bible says, “… the joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). The joy of the Lord in your heart is where your strength is, and nothing should get that joy out of you. That joy doesn’t originate from this world and it doesn’t depend on the circumstances of your life because it is the product of the recreated human spirit. “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance… (Galatians 5:22-23).

It doesn’t matter the situation you’re facing right now, you can still sing amidst severe challenges or persecutions like Paul and Silas did (Acts 16:25). Understand that your joy is independent of the circumstances. The problems you encounter are temporal so they can’t last for long; they are the stepping-stones you require to move you to a greater level of life. The Bible says, “…count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2). If your faith is being tested and tried right now, don’t give up, fret or worry. The trial and proving of your faith brings out steadfastness and patience in you. The Christian life is a care-free one; so live a joyous life this month, one filled with singing and making melody to the Lord. Hallelujah!
