Making Progress By Meditating On The Word

 

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

In this month of February, the predominant thoughts in your mind will ultimately determine the quality of your life and the extent of your progress. The Bible says, “…as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7), showing us that your life will not be different from your thoughts.

The Bible says, “…be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2). In other words, this month, don’t think the way the rest of the world thinks; use God’s Word concerning your progress to guide your thought-life. Let His Word about your success and prosperity occupy your thought processes morning, noon, and night. You must refuse the contrary thoughts of the enemy and focus all your thinking energy on what the Lord has said about your greatness. Praise the Lord!

This month, you have to practise thinking consciously, thoughts of advancement. If you ever find yourself in a challenging situation, instead of thinking on the problem and magnifying it, tell yourself, “I will not let this situation occupy my thoughts; instead, I will think on what the Word of God says concerning my success and progress.”

Immediately you do this, get a hold of your Bible and start digging into it. Think and meditate on the Word. As you reflect upon what God has said concerning your progress, there’ll be a metamorphosis; as your thoughts line-up with the Word, it will make you talk progress and you will go through each day of this month from one level of achievement to another.
